Frequently ASked Questions

1) Which meal plan should I consider?
It is important to consider your personal eating habits; how often do you eat? Are you an athlete? What is your class and work schedule? Click on the MEAL PLAN link on our website.

  • 19 meal plan: this plan allows for 3 meals a day at the Commons and no points for the space and snack bar.
  • 14 meal plan: this plan allows for 2 meals a day at the Commons and $165 in points that can  be used at the Snack bar and Space
  • 10 meal plan: this plan allows for the most points for the snack bar and space and the least meals at the Commons

2) how do I access Dining facilities?
Meal Access and Points are accessed through your Drew All campus Card. You must have this card to access the Commons and pay with points/cash or credit in the snack bar and space

3) What are points?
Points can be used in any of our dining facilities. It acts as a debit card with a certain amount of money and deducts purchases from the balance. To check your balance at any time log into Campus Web on Drew’s website

4) How can I add more points to my card?
Students wishing to add more points on their food account may do so in the business office or by phone with a credit card

5) Is it possible to know what food is available at the Commons before going?
Yes, all the menus are posted on line. You can log on to www.drewdining.com and click on the MENU page.

6) What happens if I do not use all my meals or points?
Each time you enter the Commons you are allowed to eat an unlimited amount. Meals reset after Thursday dinner. For example if you have the 10 meal plan and have 2 meals left by Thursday dinner, your meal will be reset to 10 on Friday morning. Points associated with the meal plan are forfeited at the end of the spring semester. Account 2 points added on to your campus card will carry over from year to year

7) What happens if I lose my card?
You must go to the business office for a replacement card. The charge is $10 which can be paid to the cashier or charged to your account

8) What if I have allergies to certain foods or have special food needs?
We do everything we can to accommodate students with special food needs. Please contact our General Manager via phone or e-mail. Our dietitian is also available for individual consults.
